VIDEO LINK ABOUT DOLPHIN ELECTREEL:
Zsolt, the owner of DOLPHIN ELECTREEL of Sarasota, Florida manufactures one of the best electric assist motor drive fishing reels on the market to date. The company strives for excellence producing a deep drop reel that is economical and unstoppable, no matter what species you are fishing for. These reels are constantly being tested, by everyday fisherman for strength and endurance worldwide, with continuous proven results. With models producing up to 162 pounds of dead lift, swordfish and large bottom dwellers don't stand a chance. This concept allows for the electric motor to be utilized for "serious fishing" with the luxury of still having a conventional reel (PENN or Shimano) to crank on if you choose! In 2009, a 577 lbs. swordfish caught aboard the "BILL COLLECTOR" was no match for the DOLPHIN ELECTREEL paired with a PENN 80VSW, the second largest swordfish ever taken from Florida waters! "THE POWER CHOICE FOR SERIOUS FISHING!!!"

We can't give away all the secrets...

The rule of thumb for deep drop weights are 1 lbs. for every 100' of water. You may need to increase this amount or take some away based on current conditions.
(example: 800' of H20 = 8 LBS. of lead / weight)
Fishing Line: Braided lines are the line of choice for this application. They are far more expensive, yet have considerable benifits. They have less drag in current and are more sensitive to feeling the bite. These braids are far superior in breaking strength over monofilament, in deep water.
