"Keel Weighted Lures"

Low Center of Gravity ( LCG ) or Keel Weighted Lures

The LCG lures have fast become BahamaLure’s best looking, best selling and best fish catching range of lures. Each lure is individually weighted and carefully balanced by hand with all the weight being placed in the lower half of the lure, below the leader hole. This gives the lure incredible stability in the water and the ability to roll upright and stay that way under all conditions.

This gives these lures the following advantages –

The eyes and skirts are oriented upright, skirts with the dark (or light if preferred) side uppermost and the eyes looking out to the side. This creates as life like a look as can be achieved, even the bullet lures ride upright. After all, baitfish do not swim on their sides or upside down so why not have a lure that swims the right way up too?

Hook-sets can be in a fixed position, no guesswork or just plain hope that the hook is pointing where it should. There is a hook keeper in the back of each lure that grips the crimp joining the hook set to the leader. Now the hook(s) can be set where desired and remain there. Marlin lures can be rigged with hooks to port and starboard, wahoo lures with them both upright and tuna lures with the hook down.

Swimming action is maximized as the lure is always oriented correctly, never sideways or upside down.

Color range is nearly limitless and all the colors available shift and sparkle as the lure passes by, exactly as a fish flashes as it swims.
